GOLD COAST FOOD AND WINE SHOW

You will find the Coffee Education Network stand right opposite the stage where the Australian finals of the World Barista Championships are happening. This is an exciting event any serious barista or coffee enthusiast must not miss! The atmosphere is electric with the various heats and finals culminating in the announcement of Australia’s best baristas who will go on to compete in the UK in June.

Christine and Paul will be checking out the cooking and barista competitions run by Chef’s of the Future in association with the Australian Culinary Federation. Espresso coffee teachers and trainers in the ACT and in nearby NSW are invited to morning coffee and a demonstration of the Perfect Espresso series of books and training resources. Hospitality teachers and trainers in Queensland are invited to a day’s update on hospitality industry happenings. This includes a demonstration of the Perfect Espresso publications – an integrated set of books, programs plans, test questions, practical activities, CDs, Charts…. and much more. AUSTRALIAN SUB-TROPICAL COFFEE ASSOCIATION MEETING

Join this association to collaborate with coffee experts from seed to sip – growers and harvesters, blenders and roasters, retailers and trainers in the Northern NSW, one of Australia’s biggest coffee production areas. The international finals of the World Barista Championships are being held at this prestigious coffee event in the UK. We will be there waving the Aussie flag for Scott Callaghan, the 2010 Australian barista champion and the team of other Australian competitors. CSR GOLDEN BEAN ROASTER COMPETITION

This exciting event is a competition to find Australia’s best coffee roaster and attracts leading coffee professionals from Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the USA.
